Hi, Iām Melanie leeson.
Personal and professional experience have led to the development of Mettle + Grace. I have extensive hospitality experience as the Head Chef at numerous venues including Monk Bodhi Dharma and My Goodness Organics, and Cooking School Manager at String & Salt.
My personal circumstances provide a unique element, relatable to many of our clients. After enduring 15 years of chronic illness, food and cooking provided the source of my true mettle. It is the lived ordeal of converting my own meal plan to meet dietary requirements recommended by my health professional that I decided to launch Mettle + Grace. Our aim is to make cooking more approachable, to encourage beneficial eating and make the transition with guidance and grace.
